Worthwhile Things I Did Today 8/26/10: The Pepsi Throwback Hangover

This really wasn’t a good day at all. I won’t go into it all (because I can’t), but here’s a few highlights:

The Hard Stuff. At least, for me...

Not Worthwhile. I’m pretty sure I was hung over from yesterday’s Pepsi Throwback today. I woke up with an awful headache that persisted most of the day with intense sensitivity to light and some dizziness. I’ve never had a hangover so I don’t really have anything to compare it to, but a quick web-search gave me this information: “When you’ve drunk too much caffeine it may result in a caffeine hangover. Caffeine, like alcohol, is a diuretic, and causes much of the ‘hangover’ symptoms — nausea, headache, dizziness, etc.” I’d like to say I’ll refrain from anymore Pepsi Throwback, but that would be a lie.–the Pepsi Throwback already owns a piece of my soul. I imagine one would have to be pretty lame to get hung over from a soda. So why am I not surprised I would…

Proof that no ending can be superior to a poor ending.

Not Worthwhile. Finished Inuyasha Kanketsuhen tonight. Jen and I started watching the 193-episode Inuyasha series back in September 2001, so we’ve literally been watching for nearly a decade. At times I would have rated this in my Top 10 series of all-time.  Having seen the final season and ending of this show, I don’t know if I would even rank it in my Top 100 series. What a complete and utter disaster of an ending. Extensive review will be coming this weekend, and it will surely not be positive.

Not Worthwhile. Not valued at work, though I’m indispensable. Qué lástima. If I was a smarter man, I’d quit…

  1. Dave says:

Whoa whoa whoa – how is it the least bit possible that you are not valued at work. I call bullshit. Not trying to be rude, but I cannot see how it’s possible. You are completely and 100%edly valued. 100%.
